When should you consider earwax removal?

Earwax occurs naturally in the ear canal and is actually good for your ears, helping keep skin healthy and prevent infection.  Earwax also assists in the cleaning and lubrication of your ear canal. Some people may suffer from excessive earwax, which could lead to problems such as difficulty hearing, a feeling of fullness in the ear, tinnitus (ringing in the ears) or discomfort (earache). The expert team at Audika can examine your ears to determine if you have excessive earwax build up and if you should consider an earwax removal appointment.

Audika earwax removal services

In most cases, earwax works its way out on its own, and there is no need to remove it. However, if earwax is blocking your ear canal and causing hearing loss, it may require removal.

Micro-Suction

Here at Audika we use the Micro-suction method for wax removal, as it is the safest and quickest method of earwax removal. This method is also used to safely remove foreign bodies present in the ear canal.
